Real Estate Upheaval- No Commission🫣

Have you heard of the changes coming down the pipe in the Real Estate Residential world? 🤔.. There is a new dawn on the horizon.... For years,  when agents are hired by homeowners, it has been so customary to build in the commission for both sides in the asking price. After all, and why not in most situations it takes the listing agent and the buying agent to support/ bring to close both parties (seller and buyer).... Well, have you heard that NAR has lost the LAWSUIT, defending this old tradition/practice of compensation and ( companies such as KW and RE/Max- to name just a few🫣 already making settlement as a result).. I am not necessarily going to go into it here- right now; However, what I will say is real estate agent who work with their buyers, will "have to" seek their compensation from that said 'buyer'. This new practice could be around the corner as soon as within the next 6 months, officially... Oh and guess what, this is a NATIONWIDE ruling, not just our beloved Florida..
One thing I wonder about though, is those first time homebuyers -(FHA Loans???)... Which has so many "you cannot" add fee to the buyer contract; 🤔🤔- how will that work, with this new structure of commission compensation..🤷🏾🤷🏾hhhmmmm-I hope HUD will answer this question sooner, rather than later; as this is a large pool of the home buying community...
This lawsuit in my opinion as so many cliffhanger 🙄, the more I think about it, hhhhhmmm.
